How can you dye 100% polyester Devil red??
Question: I have a costume that is that material, but some dyes state (not recommended for 100 poly) is there certain dyes that will work??? Thanks in advance.
Answer: Dylon doesn't dye 100% polyester, only poly/cotton blends. (From the Dylon website:Dylon Machine Fabric Dye Instructions - for a 40ºc pack

Suitable fabrics: cotton, linen, viscose and polyester/cotton mixes. Lighter
There used to be a dye for synthetics called Dylon or Dyelon or something that sounded like that. Check at crafts stores and fabric stores or even online to see if the stuff is still made. I heard it was good.
